Making their first outing with the striking new 2023 team livery, Dynavolt Triumph get the new FIM Supersport World Championship season underway tomorrow with day one of the official test at Philip Island in Australia, ahead of the opening round at the same venue on 24-26 February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The customary two-day test is an important opportunity to continue the progress made at the pre-season test at Portim\u00e3o in Portugal last month and the Dynavolt Triumph riders are both ready to get started.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

British rider Harry Truelove makes not only his debut on the world stage with Dynavolt Triumph but also his first appearance at the technically demanding Philip Island circuit. The 26-year-old from Lincoln is ready to launch the international chapter to his career and is excited for the challenge ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niki Feelings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Harry Truelove: \u201cI\u2019m really excited for my first World Supersport round, it\u2019s going to be good getting back with the team for the test at the start of the week and getting some laps round Philip Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Obviously not having been there before comes with its own challenges but it\u2019s the perfect opportunity to get ourselves even more dialled in. Overall I\u2019m just excited to be getting the 2023 season started and getting back to racing and working with the team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finland\u2019s Niki Tuuli makes his return to the team for the 2023 season and is looking forward to getting back onboard his Triumph Street Triple RS 765 in Australia after showing some promising pace on his first outing on the machine in Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Niki Annoucement <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Niki Tuuli: \u201cI can\u2019t wait to go back to Australia. Last year I had really bad luck, I was sick throughout the weekend and I couldn\u2019t race. This track suits my riding style quite well and I hope we can start the weekend with a really good feeling from the test. I\u2019m really happy that we have the two days of testing.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe need more kilometres to understand more things but I think the pace that we have is quite good so in the test we will try a couple of new things and just get used to riding again. For the weekend my goal is of course, first of all to finish the weekend, to learn the new people and how we work together and just prepare everything for the upcoming races to get the best results,\u201d Niki said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat is basically the plan, I can\u2019t wait to start the year and I\u2019m really looking forward to working with the guys again,\u201d by Niki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dynavolt Triumph Team Manager Simon Buckmaster: \u201cIt\u2019s time for round one, it\u2019s been a short winter for everybody but we built two brand new bikes and we tested in Portim\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ready to Race<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Both Niki and Harry have settled in well and things look good from the test so we arrive in Australia in a good frame of mind. A lot of people haven\u2019t tested at all but tomorrow and Tuesday will give us an idea of where we\u2019re actually at.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re in pretty good shape but it\u2019s only when everyone is on track at the same time you get a real indication of what the situation is. We want to challenge at the front from the word go and it\u2019s all about finishing the best we can and getting as many points as we can and hopefully with Niki, challenging for the podium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
